Public servants are overwhelmed by the number of – and changes to – AI tools. If public servants do not get comfortable with AI tools, the public sector will lag behind on implementing innovative technologies. But rather than diving head-first into the most popular AI tools available, public servants should first identify their main pain points, and then find tools that can assist them with their unique challenges.
If the world’s democracies are failing on the climate crisis, how can we motivate them to step up to the challenge? In our experience, participatory democracy is up for the task. By shifting power and working together with community members to create climate action, governments can invest in sustainable projects that have community support.
